The Tree by Living Waters

Blessed the soul who shuns the wrong,

Whose heart resists the sinner’s throng;

Who walks with God in holy light,

And finds in truth his pure delight.

By flowing streams his roots abide,

With fruit that blooms through every tide;

No withered leaf, no barren days,

His life resounds in faithful praise.

The wicked fall like chaff away,

The winds of doom their deeds betray;

They stand not where the just shall rise,

Their path is lost to darkened skies.

But God shall guard the righteous way,

While sin and shadow fade away.
